Welcome to the 2008 Southern Skies Tournament

Tournament News !!!

All games for football, rugby and netball have been cancelled for Tuesday 8th July. Hockey has been running as normal. For any draw changes, please see the draws page (these will be uploaded by 5pm Tuesday).

The Daily Results will be uploaded each evening, so come check out how your teams are faring.

We have nearly 80 teams participating from across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Northern Ireland, and for the first time, Dubai and Pakistan. Very exciting!

Everyone seems to be having a fantastic time and the weather seems to be holding out for us ... fingers crossed!

About the Tournament

2008 is the 11th annual Southern Skies Tournament hosted here in Brisbane. A sports tournament hosting competitions in football, hockey, netball and rugby, we welcome teams of young athletes from around the world for a week filled with sport, fun, cultural and educational experiences never to be forgotten.

Over 800 groups have attended from New Zealand, South Africa, Botswana, England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, and of course, all parts of Australia.

For travelling teams, we will put you in touch with our licenced travel agent, Travel Southern Skies, and they will send you costings for our all-inclusive athlete's package and help organise all your travel requirements.
